Currently, shipping is available to the different locations of Australia, France, Germany, Hongkong, Japan, Singapore, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States depending upon the PIN/ZIP coverage area of our courier partners. Q. How does Olam prevent card fraud?

Online payments are monitored by our systems for any suspicious activity and some transactions are verified through extensive checks if we find that they are not authorized by the owner of the card. When we’re not able to rule fraud out in rare cases, the transaction is kept on hold and we ask the shopper to share relevant proofs. This is done to make sure that the transaction is genuine and authorized.

Q. What does opting for “Cash on Delivery” mean?

We understand that you might want to pay for an order by cash. That’s why we’ve got a very convenient option where you can pay at your doorstep before receiving the package and signing the delivery sheet. You can also pay using a credit card/ debit card if the Courier Executive carries a swiping machine. However, a nominal convenience fee will be charged for COD orders. This fee is non-refundable.

Q. What does convenience fee mean?

Convenience fee is a combination of COD charges (if applicable), fulfillment fees (to have hassle free shopping experience), and delivery fees. Convenience fee is non refundable.

Q. What is the amount I can shop for with the Cash on Delivery payment option?

You can shop for up to Rs. 09,999 using the Cash on Delivery (CoD) option.

The availability of the Cash on the Delivery option depends on factors like the delivery Pincode, type of products, etc.

Q. Can I pay using International Currency?

According to The Paypers, Olam, an Indian eCommerce website, has signed an agreement with Cyber Source, a global payment service provider, and Visa Company, which will allow international card transactions. Visa, MasterCard, and American Express will be accepted as payment methods by Olam, which accepts payments from over 21 countries.

Q. How do I know my order has been confirmed?

An e-mail & SMS will be sent once you’ve successfully placed your order. We’ll also let you know as soon as we ship the item(s) to you along with the tracking number(s) for your shipment(s). You can track your orders from the ‘My Orders’ section on your Olam account.

Q. What if the amount got debited from my side but I did not receive an Order ID?

We ensure that an Order ID is confirmed only once our bank receives the payment from your bank. Sometimes, due to unforeseen reasons, the amount might be debited from your side but wouldn’t have been received by us yet. Please send an email at customercare@olamagroexportscompany.com and we’ll sort it out for you.

Q. The packet that I received is empty/part of the order is missing. What should I do?

We follow safe and secure packaging of products under CCTV footage. In an unforeseen event, if you receive an empty packet, please get in touch with AJIO Customer Care team and share pictures of the package with us. We will review the CCTV footage and resolve the issue.

Q. Can I order a product that is ‘Out of Stock’ or ‘Temporarily Unavailable’?

The products listed as ‘Out of Stock’ or ‘Temporarily Unavailable’ are not available for sale. Please use the ‘Notify Me’ feature to be informed of the product’s availability.

Q. What does ‘Out of Stock’ mean?

An item is marked as ‘Out of stock’ when it is not available at the moment; you won’t be able to buy it now. Use the ‘Notify Me’ feature to know once it’s available for purchase.

No, as per company policy, such items are not eligible for discounts under exchange offers.

Q. How can I cancel my whole order?

We have a “No questions asked return and refund policy”. If you find the product quality below your expectations then you can return the product and get a refund within our timelines. If you cancel your order before your product is shipped, we will refund the amount after deducting a nominal cancellation charge of 2% and applicable GST.

Q. What do I do if an item I receive is defective (broken/leaking/expired)?

If you think you have received the product in bad condition or if the packaging is tampered with or damaged before delivery, please refuse to accept the package and return the package to the delivery person. Q. What is the Olam return policy for cash on delivery?

For Pay on Delivery orders, refunds will be processed to your bank account (via National Electronic Funds Transfer (NEFT)) . You will have to provide a bank account number for the refund. You can update the details of the bank account in Your Account section or from the Returns Centre when you are returning an item.

No, we will not be able to accept returns after the period mentioned in the Returns Policy.

Q. Do I have to return the freebie when I return a product?

Yes, the freebie has to be returned along with the product.

Q. When is a return of an item not possible?

We cannot accept returns of item(s) in the following cases:

1. When an item is damaged because of use or when it is not in the same condition as you received it
2. When any consumable item has been used or installed
3. When anything is missing from the package you’ve received including price tags, labels, original packing, freebies & accessories
4. When non-returnable items are involved such as innerwear. lingerie etc.
5. When items are tampered with or have missing serial numbers.

 Q. I ordered the wrong item. Can I return it?

Our return policies don’t support the return of item(s) ordered wrongly. If the wrong item was sent then let us know. If the wrong item was ordered it is on you.

Q. How long does it take to cancel an order?

Cancellation of item(s) in order happens immediately if the order hasn’t been shipped yet by us. If your order has been shipped, it will be canceled as soon as the courier service confirms that the shipment is being returned to us. Orders from certain categories cannot be canceled after 24 hours.

Q. What are the delivery charges?

Delivery charges vary with each product and the zones. Currently, delivery charges are waived for shipping above Rs.1999/-and 2499/ for local and domestic orders depending on open delivery zones and above Rs.1,49,999/- for global orders. This may change without notice. We request you to kindly check the same during checkout.

For Cuttack city Home Grocery and Vegetables: Currently, delivery charges are Rs.50/- for orders containing only daily essentials like Groceries and Vegetables. Delivery is free for order values more than Rs.1999/-. The rate is not applicable for orders containing both daily essential and non-essential products. Eligible PIN code from 753001 to 753030.

*   Essential products like Groceries and vegetables are deliverable only in Cuttack for PIN codes from 753001 to 753030.

*   Minimum order amount is Rs.999/-.

Q. How the delivery charge is calculated?

The shipping charge is specified separately for every product. For multiple products ordered the program adds up the total of all individual shipping charges. Thus, a customer who orders three products is charged the total of all individual delivery charges associated with each product. Thus, the delivery fee is calculated separately when a customer orders a different product.

Our prices are all-inclusive. All taxes are included with the list prices except Octroi. If applicable in your region, there will be an extra octroi charge for a shipment to the Maharashtra region.

Q. How many delivery attempts will be made?

Our courier partners will make a maximum of three attempts to deliver the shipment(s) of our customers. In case the customer is not reachable or does not accept delivery of products in these attempts, we reserve the right to cancel the order(s) at our discretion.

Q. What happens if the order is returned undelivered?

For the wrong address or the consignee is not available while our courier partners are trying to deliver the consignment, the order returns to its origin by the courier. We will cancel such orders once we receive the consignment back in the origin and a refund will be initiated after deducting the to and fro shipping charges.

Q. Why is the CoD not offered in some locations?

Availability of CoD depends on the ability of our courier partners serving your location to accept cash as payment at the time of delivery. Our courier partners have limits on the cash amount payable on delivery depending on the destination and your order value might have expected this limit.
